The talented "Rehab" singer and songwriter died on Saturday, July 23, at the age of 27.
On Monday, a coroner's official said that the singer did not die under suspicious circumstances. However the cause of death has not been released.

The London Metropolitan Police said Monday that the autopsy of Winehouse did not show cause of death. Toxicology tests are needed, and can take up to two to four weeks.

With details of her death unfolding, the family is free to plan the singer's funeral. The funeral is likely to be held Tuesday or Wednesday.
Winehouse's father thanked a crowd of fans who were grieving outside of the singer's home on Monday.

"I can't tell you what this means to us," Mitch Winehouse said. "We're devastated and I'm speechless, but thanks for coming."

hi BoyGeorgePeru, it was really upsetting about Amy losing her shorten life , she did have her inner demons, with all of those drugs & drink in her life also her scumbag of ex-boyfriend Blake, it couldn''t have being easy for her. Although I''ve never been a fan of Amy she did have a great voice, but again she was someone''s daughter, she also joins the 27 club along with Kurt Corbain, Janis Jopin,Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison.
maybe being famous & being a wealthy millionaire ain't the lifestyle for everyone.
RIP AMY WINEHOUSE

hi there BoyGeorgePeru, I can see clearly why this has upset you there over the death on Amy Winehouse, I do admit that I wasn''t a big fan of hers, but millions of others would dis-agree with me here, it is such a sad loss of a very talented singer like Amy to lose her life to drugs, I wonder who it would be before the dealer who supplied her with the drugs to come forward.
You''re right drugs does destroy many of lives, I grew up in a part of Glasgow here where some of my ex-school mates/friends , neighbours etc! it was only the familie''s that was wrecked by drugs it was like the whole communties etc! I was lucky enough to say no to all of that shit years ago, I''m not the one who''s ended up in jail or dead here, some people do have a choice here, I''m so glad that you''re also one of the wise ones there.

She was a massive talent and a real character, I really feel for her family and friends, it will be a great loss to them. My youngest brother died of a drugs overdose over ten years ago and it was devastating for me and my brothers and sisters. May god bless her

I'm so sorry to hear that winter about your younger brother passed away through drugs, you just feel almost helpless, I lost some school friends who I grew up with since primary school who messed around with drugs & are no longer here with us today, as for the drug dealers I hope they all go to hell.
